    Commentary Thoughts

I actually like Miller and Morgan in this game, but was thinking about how they could enhance the commentary so that it does not become repetitive.

One way I thought they could do this would be to release the game with a set database of things they would say and then periodically release replacement phrases and comments through the roster updates.

I know it's probably a hassle to do so, but I think it would add depth and remove the staleness that sometimes happens when playing a season or franchise.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Thats a great idea in theory and would lessen the staleness for sure.....but that would would require John and Joe to do updates also, and they have stated many times that the time constraints that come with John and Joe is the biggest problem.

If there was a way to do this I would be all for it though.....a cross between The Show commentary and All Star baseball is what I have always hoped for, as Some of the best ramblings went on in these games and felt so natural

I love Jon and Joe, i love the relaxed manner of their commentaries and how the banter flows between them, however i do agree it can get a bit stale sometimes, how to remedy that im not too sure.

One thing they can do is remove the little player-specific stories. That saves memory and makes it feel less stale. I don't want to keep hearing about how in like 2006 David Ortiz did such and such... especially three years into my franchise (but better yet, I'd just prefer not hearing it every game). I like the progressive commentary that The Show has.

MLB Power Pros has a terrible commentator that can't pronounce any name correctly (and just has weird play-by-play lines overall), but I really like how he mentions hitting streaks, approaching single-game, single-season, and career records, consecutive strikeouts, and monthly statistics. Very nice touches that I think they can add into the MLB 2K franchise.
