I've been working roughly 12 hours a day for the last two months, including saturdays. And I will be doing that until this game is approved and sent to the manufacturer.

I assure you, all of our effort is focused on delivering you guys the best baseball gaming experience we can.

...and we're sick of playing second fiddle to The Show. Don't think just cause we have the exclusive on 360 we're sitting around counting our massive piles of gold coins - swimming in them, Scrooge McDuck style.

I'm pretty sure he meant that they have the exclusive MLB licensed baseball game on the 360.

i for one am not that anxious to see any pics, i mean what is that going to tell us, we already know the game looks good, we won't know anything till we see gameplay footage and hear from brinkman himself on what they improved.

Yeah..screens are OK but we can tell alot more from game footage.

I think we'll get some videos from the CES, but hopefully Take-Two will throw us something sooner than that.
I'd like to see some PS3 footage first or at least simultaneously with 360. They've got alot to prove to PS3 owners after last yrs inferior release (I've heard that the PS3 ver is going to look really good this yr, but seeing is believing). Especially if they're going to attempt to lure people away from The Show.

How come when people have complaints or suggestion for MLB 08 The Show, Kolbe from SCEA always comes on these forums and makes sure the complaint or suggestion is taken care of? I noticed on the show forum that they were complaining about the sound of the players walking on the field, and Kolbe came on and said they got it fixed because of the complaint. It would be nice if a member from 2K would answer some of our complaints and reassure us once in a while!

Stating the obvious, SCEA has better customer relations than 2K. I mean, both shops are dedicated to getting the best product they can out there, but the guys at SCEA have taken upon themselves, on their own time, to come here and answer questions and address concerns.

Of course, it creates a buzz about the game too so it serves a purpose for them as well. But their intentions are honorable as they try to give us as much info as they can, especially in crunch time for them.

2K does not put the same emphasis on getting us info for some reason. It can't be because they are not aware of Opsports, but perhaps Brinkman has his hands tied by corporate. Maybe they just run a tighter _ss shop over there.
