Is MLB 2K8 GOING TO BE 60 FPS?
I am hoping 2K8 will be 60 fps, this will make it much more smoother and playable.Tags: None -
Re: Is MLB 2K8 GOING TO BE 60 FPS?
I hope so as well. And I mean full on 60 FPS. Not one time of slowdown. Combine that with no jaggies, this game would sell to me no matter how broken the gameplay is haha. I would just be awestruck by the beautiful graphics.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60 -

I'll take tone downed graphics for 60fps. 2K7 was way too herky jerky.PSN: sportdan30

Re: Is MLB 2K8 GOING TO BE 60 FPS?
And also correct... nothing in this game had jaggies except players. I've played it many-a-times as well, though I don't own it. But there's no doubt that players themselves had jaggies. Stadiums were beautifully rendered however.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

But I seem to see a lot of things that people don't see. I don't suppose you guys see the instant lighting change on the player models from that evening to night transition in just one batter change, do you?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

It wasn't terrible, but it was certainly there.Comment

Re: Is MLB 2K8 GOING TO BE 60 FPS?
But biggest thing with this game was the framerate. 2nd year on the 360 and the framerate was pretty bad.Comment

Can't wait to see this game in action if it really does become 30 FPS.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

How can you even tell what the frame rate is and is 60 that important anything ove 30 is good to me I really dont want to lose any of the eye candy“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Exhibit A
I think that you're not actually aware of what 60 FPS will do for this game until you see it for yourself. That is, assuming they actually choose to do it.
Though I agree... sometimes you don't want to sacrifice some things to become victorious in other things. This, however, needs to be done.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I still have the game and playing on an hdtv i dont see any jaggies on the players at all. Maybe on a regular tube tv...NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.Comment

Re: Is MLB 2K8 GOING TO BE 60 FPS?
I played on an HDTV. I gotta be honest... the jaggies are tougher to see on a regular TV.
P.S. I played the PS3 version.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
