Re: MLB 08: The Show First Details
Well I'm guessing the game is near completion by now. I mean it's not like anything else is going in/coming out of this project. The best they can do now is market, market, market!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I'm one of the biggest MLB2K fanboys out there, but this has me seriously considering a PS3 now. Gotta see what 2k is bringing first, but it'd better be impressive.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: MLB 08: The Show First Details
I did give in and buy a PS3 for MLB the show and I dont regret it one bit. The show is crazy fun and a solid *** game, and I enjoyed some other games. Still have my 360 so either way im good, but I cant really see 2k8 being better than the show since I played both and the show has alot to offer already. Im sure the show will step it up also. Lets see only time will tell. I honestly do hope MLB2k8 does well, cause I think we all deserve to be happy with what ever system we have. Its just for me the next gen of sports game have been a let down, except for NHL 08 , NBA 2k8 (Pretty decent) and MLB the show. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope they finally step it up. I think what has hurt us in the next gen era is that they are focusing so much on graphics and the gameplay and AI is taking a hit. Ala Madden 07 and 08. WACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!Simply *Magic* Just click the link and Watch :)

The PS3 is starting to gain momentum, so what do you have to lose by getting one? I mean Microsoft has some great exclusives, but so does Sony (MGS4, GT5, Killzone 2, The Getaway, Infamous, Little Big Planet, White Knight Story, etc...)Comment

I don't understand why all the baseball fans on here don't just get a PS3 rather than a 360. That way you can have the best of both worlds, with 2k8 & The Show... plus you'll have a more stable game system with a Blu Ray player.

Re: MLB 08: The Show First Details
It's extremely possible that MLB2K8 will have this feature as well. Kush Games, maker of 2K's MLB and NHL series, already has this feature in NHL2K8 called "Gamestyles". It allows you to download sliders from the server that people have uploaded and also allows you to name the sliders and save as many different sliders you want. Since it is made by Kush, I can assume that they will carry this feature for MLB2K8. Especially since MLB typically needs deep slider edits to get a game of baseball from it.Comment

Re: MLB 08: The Show First Details
Wow, that is a extremely impressive list.
I have no history with The Show, but if it's anything like games that 2K & EA design a vast majority of those new features will be either highly overdone or broken/buggy/glitchy.
It scares me when game developers try to reinvent the wheel by adding hords of tremendous sounding features to a game, but in reality they typically fall short of consumer expectations.....maybe The Show is different??Comment
