2K7 had the most UNrealistic bat sounds! I have been asking for them to change the bat sounds for over a year now. Hopefully it will get done this year. The producers and testers must hear the same thing we gamers are hearing, and they must know it doesn't sound right!

Actually, 2K5 had the worst.

But I agree. I mean, I have a feeling they're actually recording the bat sounds in studio when being hit off a tee or soft toss or something. Problem is the acoustics and echo, and overall poor recording job. If not that, they're probably creating it themselves. Fire that creator.

I was listening to other games and noticed that wii sports baseball has pretty good bat on ball sounds.... if wii sports as accurate sounds, there is no excuse for 2K, which prides themselves in sports realism!

Minor Leagues CHECK!
Baserunning animation CHECK!
Realistic gameplay/ball trajectory/foul balls/pitcher-batter duel CHECKED!
Bat sound DUNNO YET!

This sound is terrible. You almost have to block it out like the Madden "rocket explosion" on deep passes. Ugh.
