    Realistic Trading

Just a quick note on trading, even though the computer will accept it, if u want realisitc trades do not do any trade where the computer is not at least 75% we all know they will do at 70 percent but 75% is much more realistic otherwise your kinda cheating the computer.

they should have a "need" system. Something like "need a backup catcher for stretch" or something like that, and depending on the weight of the need, thats how much the other team will need to give up ; in either prospects, or mlb players.

catchers are a bitch to aquire, but if you have one... even a bad one, you can aquire a much better skilled player at nearly any other position. which i guess is somewhat accurate (see the Mets/Nationals trade of Milledge for Schneider and Church)

I just wish the computer had some logic. It's not uncommon to see a team have two top players at a position, with one rarely seeing playing time.

I agree but trading is so subjective in some cases whats fair and whats not but hey ive looked at most trades playing this game and is the computer is at 75% minimum the trades are pretty realistic, when at 70% you can really rip off the computer

The main aspect to me that should be changed about the trades in this game is the frequency of them.

If you looked at one of your emails in the game where it had that option to see the league transactions you would see that the CPU teams were making trades every other day almost, and not only that but they were hiring and firing managers quicker than Paris Hilton buys a new pair of shoes.

2K really needs to tone it WAAAYYY down on the frequency of these trades. There would be like 5-10 or more teams trading a month in MLB 2K7....unacceptable...And the worst part about it was we could turn ON/OFF cpu trading throughout a season. That option was broken because if you left CPU trading ON when you started a season then you could never turn it off, and if you started w/ it off the CPU teams would never trade w/ each other leaving it unrealistic either way.
