    Post Patch

I keep seeing people talk about the patch that came out (I guess about a month or 2 ago). Anyways what did the patch fix?.... did it fix the ease of hitting homeruns? b/c it was too easy to hit homeruns!

      Still too many homeruns, though.

But the patch did help a lot. Today I was craving to play this game. I wish I never sold it.

I have to be honest...I have not seen the HR issue that others did (I know it always works like that). For example, even before the patch, I would go 2 or 3 games stretches where I or the CPU wouldn't hit a HR. I'd start worrying about the sliders and then the CPU would hit 2 in a game or I'd hit a few. I have found the frequency to be fine. In fact, my profile shows I have hit one every 27 something AB's...which is pretty realistic I'd say.

I never really saw it offline. Maybe because I adjusted the sliders correctly or something. Where it was a glowing problem was with the online play. It seemed that every game I played the only runs I allowed were from HRs. I'd give up 6-7 hits and 5-6 of those hits were HRs. It was an online HR fest. It became so unrealistic I just gave up playing online.

Ahh...I see. I have never played online with any game, so that could explain why I hear folks say what they have.

Offline it was a homer fest if you pushed up on the stick. If you didn't push up on the stick and adjusted the sliders it wasn't a homerun fest. I like the game and can't wait for this years game
