Where or What are the Features for 2k8

Title, I haven't heard anything about features anyone have any idea about the feature set? besides new pitching inter face?

I see a card collecting game to battle it out online.

I asked KushGamer if 2K8 would have a "road to the show" career type feature--- he said no.

    So I'm wondering--

    Year 1 (2k7) -- graphics overhaul
    Year 2 (2k8) -- gameplay mechanics overhaul
    Year 3 (2k9) -- plethora of new features ?

Not really features but making the game playable and very realistic. New pitching, hitting and fielding interface. Realistic hit variety, more signature everything. More info will be released soon. They have A-Rod's HR celebration where he looks at the dug out. Im ready to go

They have ARod looking into the dugout?

That's not even his homerun swing. That's just his reaction as he's running down the baseline.

        You're thinking too far ahead.

The change is likely ARod freezing at the plate with the bat fully extended to his side toward the direction of the ball's flight. In previous years he didn't freeze at the plate.

maybe, I assumed that would be part of the HR celebration the same way manny being manny gazing at the ball would be his

YankeePride_YP is correct, though after hitting a walk-off bomb with A-Rod last night I thought it would have been cool to have a special "walk-off sig" for A-Rod where he raises both hands and looks towards the dugout while running down the line. Oh well. His sig still looks great - he doesnt always look at the dugout in real-life (just when he's extra proud of himself :wink.

                HAHA!

I'd love to see a screen capture of ARod staring at the ball's flight.

                  I understand.

Perhaps what we'll see down the line after sig styles reach their full potential is celebrations beyond the swing.

I would compare ARod lifting his fist and looking into the dugout to Manny pointing into the dugout. That would be sig style big homerun celebrations down the baseline.

Ha, imagine that. Sig-styles could get crazier. First, though, I hope 2k9 has sig-style follow through swings. Once that's down then they can move on to things like sig-style fielding, throws, extra celebrations, etc.

all this chatter about hr celebrations, and nothing about features, So I guess no new features, and sig style isn't a features.

Im not sure what features you were looking for. Do you mean like Road to the show feature or new pitching style feature. It seems as if they have massively upgraded the gameplay. Thats better then any feature they could have put in

Hold on to that "walk-off sig" idea. That would be great for future games. Maybe not just walk-off, but HR trot sigs. After we see the ball sail over the wall have them show the players reaction in a replay. We could see A-Rod looking into the dugout, Manny pointing, ect.

Along with inning-ending strikeout sigs: Joba's pump, Oliver Perez sprinting off into the dugout, Pedro pointing at the sky, ect.

I don't know what you want. Just read the interviews. The information in there is all we've gotten so far.
