I doubt it. I can't understand why they can't do this but I am not sure any game has ever had this...maybe ASB.

I am baffled as well. I've never programmed anything, let alone a video game but I can't imagine why it's so difficult to do this. I am guessing it has something to do with memory or perhaps they can't get it to work without causing some kind of bug. I would like it if Brinkman or even KG could shed some light on it though I won't hold my breath.

I think Kolbe said something about it... said it would cause some sort of bug.

I'm sure that someday they'll find a workaround.

No, there will not be September call-ups. We planned to do this, but it got cut as we approached Alpha and were running out of time. Hopefully next year.

Take it from someone who has done a bit of coding in their lifetime, it's a lot of work and takes a lot of time. Not to mention that once you implement one thing, it breaks something else. Fix that problem and something else breaks etc...

That's what I don't get, you had an entire year to work on this and were still running out of time?

Yea, they didn't have other things to work on during the year. I read that they ate donuts for 11 months and are just now getting to work on finishing up the game. Unfortunately, working on the 40 man roster would have included a 32nd day in the work schedule. They only have time for 31 days. Damn that vanilla sprinkle donut shipment that came in the day before they started getting to work on the Alpha.

LOL! Yeah man, I think we need to lay off them until we play the game. If not having September call-ups is my biggest complaint with the game then I'm going to be a very happy man.
