Is there even a "street" date for this game or can retailers start selling it once they receive it? If it's the latter does that mean there's a chance we might be able to find it this week.

Generally, the retailers are not allowed to sell it until the street date, which is usually on a Tuesday... occassionally some stores break the date or, smaller stores, may take a special price to get the game out early for returning customers. Big retailers usually don't do this because they can get heaved with heavy fines, but smaller stores need to stay competative with the big-boys, so they will leak games occassionally.
