    Hitting changes?

I am one of the few who really loved 2K7. I felt most probs can be fixed via sliders. There were areas of improvement, (feilding, ease of throwing strikes, etc)

there were 2 things that I really hated and if one returns I might be getting the SHOW.

HITTTING....i hated that the hitting was essentially timed hitting. I hope in 2K8 there is an element of having to aim the bat at the ball as oppose to aiming where you want the ball to go.

the silly roster glitches were my other main gripe. david ortiz battin leadoff or being in the minors after a silly injury was absurd.

however, gameplay wise...the hitting needs to include an element of aiming the swing....does anyone know if that will be included.

That was my one big problem with the game - that and the lack of classic pitching. I won't be buying the game straight out this year. I'm waiting to hear whether they've included aimed hitting. If not, no 2K baseball for me this year.

They should just have options for hitting. I really dont like the aiming or zone hitting. I love how it is now. If you want to hit the ball to right field push the stick that way. Just easy and simple.
