Stadium specific presentation ?

I was wondering if anyone has read or heard if they are implementing any stadium specific sights or sounds this year.
last year they touched on a couple of things but not enough to keep your interest in playing at all the various venues.
Im really hoping they greatly expanded on it this year.
It would enhance playing the different stadiums hearing planes at Shea and the subway at Safco or all the other details throughout the MLB ballparks.

Also I hope they fixed that annoying organ which sounded totally unrealistic !

Any word on these features ?

Yeah, I still think it is amazing that All Star Baseball 2003 had more details in it than the supposed "next gen" games. Check out this picture from Shea:

That screen is awesome. I know for Yankee Stadium last year they would show you a shot between innings from the subway outside.

I know it's a longshot but i'd love to hear the foghorn every time a Blue Jay hits a HR at Rogers Centre.

They should let us add songs from our hard drive into the game. This way we can give players their own music, and have whatever we want played when we hit a HR. They had Stadium Beats in the game last year, but we could only select songs that were already in the game.

Yeah, that is frustrating the game advertised "custom soundtracks" on the back of the box, and there was nothing custom about it, other than the choice of bleh music offered.

I would love to have Enter Sandman when Rivera comes out!

In 2K7 crowds would chant "throw it back, throw it back, throw it back" if the visiting hit a HR. I liked it for Wrigley, but when I heard it at US Cellular I was a little upset. White Sox fans don't chant that. They try to be the complete opposite of the Cub fans. On a few occasions they have done it though, but everyone says the people who do it are just the bandwagon jumpers from when the White Sox won the World Series in '05. I just don't like the generic crap the is over-played for each stadium. I'd rather just hear the crowd cheer than hear the same cheesy things all the time.

Yes, they do. I've heard it numerous times over the passed 2 years.

Kind of like how Mets fans started doing the roll call last year. Total rip off of the Bleacher Creatures.

Holy crap i forgot about that already, youre right on that one thatd be AWESOME so AWESOME, as for the post about own music well we all know we should have custom soundtracks, but even if a song goes off after a HR the horn should still be there at the same time

At Citizens Bank Park during a Phillies homer the Liberty Bell in CF rocks back and forth and lights up, and AC/DC's Hells Bells plays over the PA system. Would love it if that was in there. Heck just the bell lighting and rocking back and forth...I can do w/o the AC/DC song.

If they allowed custom soundtracks you would be able to add the AC/DC song yourself.

Yep, ASB was awesome in that regard. Infact you would actually see the folks at Wrigley throw the ball back after a visiting HR.

Stadium Specific sounds should be standard fare in today's video games....it certainly isn't new ground. NFL2K1 on the dreamcast had accurate, specific sounds whenever you got a first down....my favorite being the one in Green Bay with the bass rift followed by "Go-Pack-Go".
