rain and retractable roofs in MLB 2k8?

Anyone know if the raining in domes has been fixed? The roofs retract in MLB Power Pros so I'm crossing my fingers that this has been brought to 2k8. At the very least I hope they let us change the stadium before a franchise game as they did in exhibition.

I dunno, I wouldn't mind playing in a classic stadium every once in a while during franchise.

Oh and yes, the rain inside a domed stadium always bugged me in the past.

Jesus, if you have nothing positive to contribute, stay out of the thread.

Bulls: there's been no mention about the rain in domes issue. And seeing it's been in the game for years, don't hold your breath. It's one of those little programming fixes the developers don't seem to have time for each year.

I'm not sure either but I hope it has.

I agree with SPTO, it would be nice to mix it up every once in a while with a classic stadium.

Rain in domes and retractable roofs not closing during rain is one of the most annoying things in the game.

I'm already disappointed with the IGN videos and not just because of the home run. The commentary was the exact same as last year and so were the cut scenes.

I've supported 2K since the Dreamcast launch but damn, I'm started to get frustrated with their games of late.

Doesn't really seem like they have changed a whole lot this year from last year.

Yep, cause the 4 minutes of skipped presentation tells us that.

They didn't skip the homerun sequence or the fact that the fans never caught the balls that were hit out of the park.........

4 mins isn't the whole deal but it's enough to tell me that perhaps they didn't work on the presentation. Hopefully the adjustments to how the game plays make up for it.

As someone who hates the Playstation and has been buying 2K since Day 1 of the Dreamcast, I'm starting to think about getting a PS3 simply for The Show.

I don't see what that has to do with gameplay.

I personally think it gets boring playing at the same places over and over and over again.
