All I said was having the WORLD SERIES MVP in and BEST defensive 3rd baseman of ALL TIME (look it up) and a great team player in Mike Lowell as well as Beckett, just to basically lose Hanley, it wasnt that painful.

No need to go on a whine fest cause the drama queen cant get it done. For crying out loud the Yankee fans were booing that guy out of town, and now they "love" him, since they are STUCK with him.:wink:

If you're looking at stats that say that Mike Lowell is the best defensive third baseman of all time, you're looking at the wrong stats.

His fielding percentage is the highest of any 3rd baseman to play the game. That has been talked about many of times in the sports areana.

Holds the all time highest fielding percentage for a third baseman (as of the end of the 2007 season)

i am a dodger fan, but i never thought of mike lowell as being the best fielding 3baseman of all time. lowell is probably top 3 right now though.

joe schmo will say Jeter is an awesome SS but the stat heads over at baseballpresopectus will show you any defensive stat u want to see....and he ranks in the lower 3rd in just about all of them

I am actually one of the fans that supported ARod even when he wasnt playing like an MVP...even tho i dunt like him personally....he is a drama queen but mos def the best baseball player playing right now...I will take that baggage along with a bad string of playoffs because he isnt the only one not performing....the Yankees arent winning....not just ARod....so its a team effort....if ur gonna get on ARods playoff problems mite as well throw Jeter, Rivera, Posada, in there too....

Jeter is slick fielder not a great one....the guy is a entertainer....he can make plays that no one else can make in the clutch....like he does when hitting...he can drill a HR wit the game on the line for u every week if the situation came up.....but cant hit a HR when up by 20 runs cuz the pressure isnt on....thats y he gets his recognition....for playing his heart out when needed....and in return ARod gets burned because he is the opposite.....he can play 9487877797 games and hit a HR everytime but presses to much when it matters....im convinced those days will be over soon tho
