First off I am 35 years old and I am not some adolescent idiot trying to get some attention on here....and I am not going to say I know someone, game test, have inside family members, or work for 2k or anything...all I am giving you is the CORRECT EXACT info...
February 7th Demo release on Xbox 360 Live- Indians vs. Redsox (already in progress)
February 28th Game official release date.
All videogame websites will have this info by Feb 15th on the games actual release date and will then update their sites.
Like I said I am not a FAKE and I will add no more to it. Enjoy the game guys...for it truly is the best game from 2K Sports to date! The demos given out to gaming sites were from the end of November/ beginning of December build dates just w/ updated rosters. The final is planned to go GOLD by Feb 13th which is the set goal date and they should definately reach that....and that info will be released soon as well. There are just VERY minor little tweaks left. Since the departure of demos to gaming sites the graphics on faces have been upgraded. All the major bugs that plaqued the game last year have been fixed or removed. The bugs like outfielders running into walls, the line up bugs, the homerun launch off, etc. Trades are current up to Jan 15th.
It is a shame that these boards are full of ignorant and biased people, as well as promotions of another gaming company and system. This is a 2K sports forum strickly for 2K8 baseball. This type of behavior on here keeps knowledgable posters and 2K employees off the boards answering geniune questions. You will see many differences compared to the demo videos released when the official game is released. Things have been tightened and scaled at a much higher detail.
