    Zone hitting in 2k8?

    sorry if it's been asked before, but have they implemented zone hitting this year for 2k8? Hitting like in MLB the Show and old High Heat? Or is it still directional hitting like MVP and last years 2k7?

          I dont think it is either...i think it is straight up timed hitting.

                      Yes, yes it does. 2K has one chance to get my $ this year: put zone hitting BACK in the game. It hasn't been stated that it's definitely not in the game, so I'm holding out a bit of hope still.

                          Is it going to be the same system that was in mvp? I havent played a baseball game since the last mvp and i only have an xbox 360. I was thinking about picking this game up but i want to to have some kind of directional component with batting, AT LEAST what mvp had.

                              The batting system in 2K is timed, combined with moving the L stick to influence hit type: push the L stick to the left to send the ball to left field, right to right field; up for fly ball; down for ground ball.
