This is a pretty odd request IMO. Batting from the pitchers view? Adding to the TV presentation? Isn't baseball supposed to make you feel like you're playing baseball, not watching TV?

The main reason is in 2K7 it was very hard to determine the ball speed and depth from the batting cam. This would just give those people who do have the problem (Which is a large list) and option to try another way of hitting instead of bypassing the game altogether.

True ... and in the BB interviews he mentioned they have new pitching and hitting cams. If there is a slight offset one like in the HH series, then that would help a lot as well.

I found it very tough as well. BTW, it looks like they've improved that, judging from the vids.

They still have to fix it so you can see the flight of the ball coming off the bat from the pitchers view.

What is your gripe? It doesn't effect you at all? Yeah, you're right. Baseball games are supposed to make you feel like you're playing baseball. If you're playing someone on the same console, do you feel like you're playing baseball when pitching from the batting cam? If we were playing on the same console, it would be as if you were playing against the CPU. I bat from the pitchers view and you bat from the hitters view. What's the big problem? At least it doesn't effect a person like basketball games do. If I prefer to play horizontally, but you prefer the vertical cam, someone is going to have an advantage. That's a problem. I mean, you have 30+ camera angles in 2k Basketball (some which are just ridiculous) and can't get 2 hitting points of view in baseball. I sure hope it's changed.
