I thought OS uselly did one with him? I'm looking for new info to, the game comes out like March 15th right? Or somewhere around there, so i would think they would be really starting to market this game.

Now why would you make an assumption like that? Have you talked to the guy? No doubt the 2K team is/has been scrambling to get the game finished. Brinkman's probably been putting in 20 hour days. And everyone knows 2K is about as disorganized as it gets when it comes to marketing their products. Between the lack of time and the lack of marketing foresight, chances are nobody has had the time or even thought much about it.

It seems like some guys get a little jumpy this time of the year... I understand where your coming from, I'm as anxious as anyone to get more information, but maybe we should take into consideration that our guys at 2k have been burning the midnight oil as of late...

This year it's 2K this, 2K that, and last year there were a few guys who thought that "The Show" would never hit the shelves...

I like to think about how fortunate we are to have one or two baseball games coming our way in 3 weeks...
We could be in uniform waiting to be shipped to a war zone where we would be ducking real bullets instead of imaginary baseballs...

Give Brinkman a break he's doing a great job!

You know you really shouldn't make reasonable suggestions for people to keep things in perspective. You might dissuade someone from typing up a juvenile rant that they've been thinking up for days.

Because in the OXM Podcast, BB said... "I am just looking over at my marketing guy to make sure I am not saying anything that cant be said [saying too much]".

And Kush said that 2K is CONTROLLING what the sites are putting out, they don't want too much info out yet.

It is not an assumption, it is fact.

Not bashing BB at all, just stating what was said by Kush and BB himself. They are on leashes from 2K. 2K can easily throw someone in here for a day answering all questions, just one day is all it would take. And they don't.

He was no doubt kidding around with his comments. Think about it: he's the top dog on the project. Is a marketing rep REALLY going to be sitting there, ready to report back to the suits if Ben says the wrong thing? I don't think so.

You could say Brinkman has to watch what he says. That's normal. That's part of the job. That's not a leash, and it's not 2K being crazy CONTROLLING (your emphasis).

No, I pointed out that your comment about Brinkman sadly being on a leash is as theoretical and speculative and based on nothing at all, as that guy who keeps popping up on these threads insisting the pitching system in 2K8 is going to be too easy or broken.
