So while all the smart**** are ripping on Tomba, it doesn't bother anyone that Ben said the demo will be out in Early Feb. on a couple occasions and here we sit on the 18th and not even a hint of when the demo will drop. I am waiting and wanting this game as much as the next person, but I am worried a little.

They sure in the heck aren't holding onto the demo for fun or because it's so good, it scare's them. There is a reason it's not out yet.....and for those who say they are just working out bugs.....well, how long before we don't have to hear that crap anymore with this series.

Please, don't take this as a slap towards 2kfans or the series, I am a 2kfan and want this game to be as good or better than the Show, I am just tired of being a sheep for this game.

Being a sheep? C'mon, 2k7 was pretty darn good.. there's no reason not to think 2k8 won't be much improved.

Patience... it's not even baseball season yet.

Mizzou, I understand that....and trust me, I have patience( lol, I am a Cubs fan ) I just don't understand the lack of demo or overall media interaction. I did have fun with ast years game, it had it's flaws, but still a nice improvement from the year before. As a huge Brinkman and MVP fan, I truly want this game to be great, I guess I am just tired of wait til next years.

Mizzou, I understand that....and trust me, I have patience( lol, I am a Cubs fan ) I just don't understand the lack of demo or overall media interaction. I did have fun with ast years game, it had it's flaws, but still a nice improvement from the year before. As a huge Brinkman and MVP fan, I truly want this game to be great, I guess I am just tired of wait til next years.

After playing many games of The Show demo at my neighbor's house, I'm also REALLY looking forward to this demo.. but there's no reason to get up tight.. we'll get it soon enough.

Yep. You hit the nail on the head. They aren't confident at all. In fact I heard they are thinking of canceling the whole thing! Then, they are going to refund everyone who ever purchased 2k6 and 2k7. Plus, they are going to provide PS3's and a copy of the show to customers who had preordered 2k8! I'm sure thats it!

that is a time frame. early february doesn't last all month, at its longest, that time frame runs from february 1 - 15 (the middle of the month in this case). so while he didn't pinpoint a date, he in fact did give a time frame, whether he meant to or not. i'm not trying to split hairs here, but those who are jumping on the 2k detractors ought to be objective. at this point, i will give it a whirl when it comes out, but after playing the other demo, this game will have to be monumental to compete with the show for playing time. i still will buy it to give my son something to play so as to free up the ps3. i hope that all baseball gamers are happy with their choice this year. if he didn't know it would have been better to say nothing, especially if the delay is because of MS certification.

I agree that he probably shouldn't have said anything. I was pretty surprised by that statement, because with Ben's PR bckground, he doesnt usually slip up like that. Early Feb seemed very optimistic, especially since I seem to remember MS sitting on it for about 2 weeks last year and Sony essentially ignoring us. Anyway, I hear from a fairly credible source that it is out of 2K's hands now on both platforms. So, it could really drop any day. With that said, MS did sit on it for a bit last year - although when Sony did respond, they got it out pretty quickly, so it may be out on PS3 first. Who knows? No one knows when it will actually be out, but I hear that it is off 2K's plate now. So we're one big step closer to having a demo.

I hope I didn't just fan the flames too much here as everyone goes running off to their 360s. I just checked and its not there yet.
