cmon, he said in the interviews when asked when a demo was coming out. I don't mind not having the demo yet, its just too late to try a demo a day before the retail game is released. More time with a demo provides more of an opportunity to what the game is about.

Is there some rule that says you have to buy the game the day it is released? You are not being forced to buy the game on release day. If the demo comes out a day before release, download it, play if for a few days or a week or heck even a month. If you like it after a week or whatever, than go buy it. I guess I don't understand your thinking.

No, I'm buying the game the day it is released, demo or no demo. I'm just wondering why this guy feels the need to buy it on release day, if he is unsure about it. Especially if there is a demo put out the day before release, why he just wouldn't play the demo for a few days and make up his mind after that? He makes it sound like he would have one day for the demo and than he would have to go buy the game the next day. That doesn't make any sense to me. Does that make sense to you?

He did not say that it was coming out "first week" of February. He said, "we are hoping to get it out in early February"!!!

Also ... The game is still over 3 weeks away ... there is plenty of time to have a demo well before "the day before"!

Feb is 4 weeks. Now early should at least mean the first half....we are already 2 weeks into feb....so he lied.

He said we hope to have it out in early February. We hope being the key words. He never said we will for sure have it out in early February. So he did not lie.

mav, exactly, early feb not mid feb. People have the right to disagree but sometimes disagreeing aint right. Too me, i feel 2k has a lot to prove and by having the demo out early feb, will allow us to see if any improvement was made. Last years game was graphically unreal, but gameplay made it unplayable especially when some of you play the game by following certain rules when hitting( no pushing up) don't do this, or that, in a game you should be able do what you want when playing. House rules, what the hell is that, its just satisfying the company that we made so, so game, but thats alright, they still play game. I stopped playing the game after a couple of weeks because of its faults.
