PS3 owners getting Mlb2k8?

I just got a ps3 i couple days ago. 1 reason is b/c how everyone talks about how good the show is. I never played it. Only played mlb2k games. Anyone getting this game over The Show? I still don't know yet which i will get.

I am in the same boat. I got my Ps3 about 10 days ago. The Show demo is tomorrow, that will factor quite a bit as would a 2K8 demo if released before the show. The Show sounds like the safer bet but i am interested in this new pitching and fielding.

I'll be getting both. Gotta decide which is better for myself. If both are great then I'll play one for a few months, then jump to the other one after awhile.

I'm getting The Show for PS3 and 2K8 for 360. If I had to choose only one, it's not even close. The Show for PS3 is the way to go.

i've only got a 360...so i dont have a choice. i like 2k7 okay and i'm sure i'll like 2k8...but i've seen some stuff on the show...and if i were honest, i'd probably get the show if i had a choice. sadly, i dont. and i dont want to give up other things on the 360 (live especially) to just get a ps3. it's just a huge bummer. i think 2k8 will be better this year though.

I will be getting this in addition to The Show. I will be getting The Show first and then picking up 2k8 later down the line.

Same here bro.

Add me to the list. If I had a PS3, it would be The Show, no question. But unless I get a big enough tax return, which I'm not really banking on, I'll have to either hope that 2K8 is the real deal (which again, I'm not banking on) or continue to wait until I can buy a PS3.

I get 2k8 to check it out, but i can already tell even if its improved on its controls it still wont touch the show, but thats just my opinion, you made the right choice in picking up a PS3 if u love baseball we get both!
