MLB 2k8 - Strike Zone Question

Hopefully this thread will not get locked after few 'non-mlb2k8' responses... but I digress.

Does anyone know if the strike zone has been lowered from 2k7? I would venture to say that most of us felt the strike zone was too high. Many pitches appeared to be near the shoulders and yet it was called a strike. Then pitches around the knees were call a ball...

Have there been any comments about adjust the strike zone? I hear there will be variance among umpires, but as a whole, has the strike zone been adjusted?

I too would love to know this..It seemed that pitches, that were high in my mind, tended to be called strikes in 2k7

It is definitely lower... much improved. But, like the bat sounds, just a few more adjustments and they may be good to go.

UMiami, if your unsure as to whether or not to get a ps3 you should just wait for the 2k8 demo to come out and then decide

Good call. I certainly hope they release the demo soon... I'm growing impatient.

the thing that will immediately turn me off of 2k bb games for good is if they release this game and it has the same kind of choppiness that it had last yr., i won't be able to take that for another yr.

There. If the Strikezone King says it's lower, it IS lower.

Only adjustments, O King? Not trying to usurp, but don't you think scrapping them entirely might be in order? (I'm kidding around BTW.)
