    Hey MODS... relax

    Wow, the MODs here do not allow much variation off topic, huh? I had a converstion about concerns regarding the bat sounds and the geometric shapes in MLB 2k8. Thread got locked within an hour... wow. So this is a message forum right? I haven't read the rules of the forum but most forums I visit, threads get locked for personal attacks, profanity, pornography and general bothersome behavior. None of that has occured.

    Are we not allowed to share concerns, gripes and question which route is best to take as it relates to baseball gaming? Does asking a question about switching to a PS3 because of 360 and MLB2k8 deserve a lock? I would've appreciated people's feedback and their thoughts. Unfortuantely, a MOD didn't feel that was relevant for this forum..

      I don't mean to speak for any mods, but your thread really deserved to be in The Show forum, if anything. And most of the responses were about The Show - or about the PS3, which is an entirely different subject. It's why I made my sarcastic remark. There were several other threads similar to yours that popped up in The Show's forum. I find out more about The Show from reading this forum lol. I don't get why 2K is getting so much hate, but it's to the point of ridiculousness

          I'm 51% keeping my 360 for MLB2k8 and 49% trading in for a PS3 and THe Show. I honestly do not know what to do... I posted in the MLB2k8 forum because at this point, that is the route I'm going to take.

          I'd love to read that bat sounds have been addressed... the spheres, geometric objects and colors are optional. Just something to ease my concerns.

          But to my point, the MODS need to allow some freedom for open, honest conversation. My posts have been far from 'bashing' but rather just concerns and genuinely seeking advice.

              And just an FYI for the future, I'm pretty sure the MODS would prefer you communicate via PM's to voice your concerns to them.
