Re: Which System for 2k8
What difference does it REALLY make? The real question is if 2k8 will be worth getting at all in place of The Show. Not a Ps3 fan boy..in fact I don't even own a PS3. But from what I've been seeing and reading, unless 2k steps it up this year The Show will be the game to get. We've seen a lot more of The Show..including a widley acclaimed excellent demo..and nothing but movies and impressions of 2k8. And from what I've watched of The Show it looks like a damn realistic game of baseball. Deep counts, pitchers that will actually walk somebody(even when you're controlling them), every kind of hit and fielding animation you could want, etc... So if you've got a PS3...I would say plan on getting The Show until evidence proves otherwise.
However, if it does come down to 2k8 between PS3 and 360..I would say if you're more interested in online play get 360..if you're going to be playing more in single player get PS3. The PS3 will probably have slightly better graphics(though that's not a given). The game play will be identical. And if you care about achievements..well...I guess maybe that will tip the scales towards 360.Comment

Re: Which System for 2k8
It won't take long to find out. Once the preliminary reviews start coming in you should be able to discern if one has more graphical hiccups than the other. I gotta believe the game play should be exactly the same. Of course, if any of the rumors from another thread in here are correct you might have to get the PS3 version to get all the content if you can't download from Xbox Live. It's too early to tell..but it should become clear about a week before they release when the reviews start coming out.Comment

Re: Which System for 2k8
IF i get 2k8 , it'll be on the ps3 even if 360 version is better....
reason: I'll be going home over the summer back to indonesia, and I don't really wanna bring my 360/ps3 console there....i'll just bring the game (ps3) and a usb (saved dynasty, rosters, sliders) and hijack my lil bro's PS3....heheh problem solved
baseball in indonesia ...how bout that ??

Re: Which System for 2k8
I like it better on 360 because I hate the PS3 controller and LOVE the 360 controller. Rumble adds a pretty big component to the game too (though the DualShock 3 or wutever will support rumble for PS3 version). Also, Xbox Live is better that the PS3 service, from what I hear and the little experience I've had with PS3 online. AND Achievements.Comment
