Re: Big Head Mode in 2k8
The only thing I could see giving good use to this is if they were using Euphoria. That way, when they're hit by a pitch, it would probably rocket off their dome as the weight of their head topples and they crash to the ground.

Re: Big Head Mode in 2k8
Straight up, if you don't care for the mode, then don't use it! I'll probably use it once or twice after I've done everything in the regular game, as I always do.. Sure it isnt the greatest shot to release right now, however, they have released many OTHER pics, so I'm not too concerned about this one.Joe Girardi # 27Comment

Re: Big Head Mode in 2k8
The frustration/ anxiety level for game media or a demo for this game is ridiculous! Almost as soon as media is released it is immediately shot down as "not good enough".
I think (and I'm sometimes guilty of this) our definition of and focus on "sim" has become so narrowed and overblown that we forget to enjoy the process of discovering and enjoying this game.
I sometimes have more fun learning about this game and what will be included in it than I do playing out 162 game seasons.... so I have to remember to take screens like these and enjoy them! For me, happiness in video gaming is the whole process- from looking at feature lists and screens/ vids, all the way to actually playing and finishing the games.
So, for all of that- these screens made me smile!! I still can't wait to play 2K8, but it'll come soon enough...Peace

Re: Big Head Mode in 2k8
For what it's worth, that "other game" had a similarly goofy option last year for making the baseball beach-ball sized.
Just about every game has easter eggs like this...and I doubt any of them take up a ton of space or development time. Why worry about it?
Edit: Although I'd have to question 2k's logic for releasing media like that...we all know it's in there, no need to show it off.Comment

Re: Big Head Mode in 2k8
If you can't take the time to give us good gameplay video's, at least give something useful. Give us pics of all the stadiums, give us pics of Lincecum, Joba, Buchholz, or Hughes. Something people might actually want to see. Big head mode is something that has been in the game for ages, and on top of that it isn't enjoyed by many people.Comment
