Awesome, that's just like MVP 05. Most fun I've EVER had pitching was in that game.

Any idea if we will be able to influence the bat and hit sac-flys purposely.

You can try to direct the ball left or right with the swing stick. I'm not sure about deliberately trying to hit the ball in the air.

Yikes, that would be dissapointing if you can't hit a sac-fly

And everything else appeared to be functional in the game I saw, so I don't think this is something they would have merely left out of the copy they showed me.
Thanks a ton for putting up these impressions. I think the above quote gives us hope. I got the impression that the pre-game screen is where we're allowed to edit the CPU lineup and rotation. If that's the case, it makes sense that you didn't see it in any of the other franchise screens.
Of course, if Dawson gets hot, and
            Sutcliffe comes through, and....
Pa, see what you did to me?

When you dive for a ball, do you have to time it? Or do you just flick the stick when it says to, and wait to dive?

Yes, you have to time it now. More about that in the writeup.

I don't know if you can do this in '08, but someone with '07 could probably check it out. In the pre-game screen for dynasty mode, could you control both teams with different controllers? That way you could edit the CPU lineup and then just switch one controller back to the middle when the game starts. At least that would solve the problem.

I see you said no co-op, what exactly do you mean by this? Does that mean I can't play against someone sitting next to me? If so that'd suck.

It means you can't play on the same team as a friend the way you can in The BIGS.

No he means that 2 players won't be able to play on the same team. Head to Head play will always be a staple in sports games.

good to hear. I couldn't figure out way they would take something like that out.
