Yeah, you can edit the lineup in the menu, when you're editing yours before the game.

So at least when we play the CPU their lineup will be 100% correct. I can live with that, I don't care if Derek Lee is batting lead off in a simmed CPU v CPU game.

Question on simmed games in franchise:
Can you jump in and out of sim games? Can I sim a game until I take over playing in the ninth inning? Can I jump out of a game that I am losing 10-2 in the fifth and the let the CPU sim the rest?
I'm pretty sure MVP had this. Never played 2k so I don't know.

You could do this the last couple years, so I'd be very surprised if it's gone this year.

So at least when we play the CPU their lineup will be 100% correct. I can live with that, I don't care if Derek Lee is batting lead off in a simmed CPU v CPU game.

Though it will affect his stats (i.e. less RBI's in leadoff spot). Oh well. Hopefully, the lineup AI has improved.

That's not the point. Last year I would "force trades". Some of the guys I trade wound up in the minors, lineups got totally screwed up with clean up batters leading off, etc. That messes up those teams until you play them.

Okay, but what if AROD is? Doesn't that mess up the Yankees when their games get simmed? Your RBI leading off?

I would just like an answer before I buy it as I don't want to see the AI throwing guys into the minors that should be in the majors.

It does mess it up, but the stats in a season don't mean anything to me for CPU teams. Honestly, I could care less. MVP '05 had awful sim numbers, most seasons the league leader in HR would be in the mid-30's and a million guys hit over .300 but it didn't bother me.

I have one favor for anyone who has the game; can you use Joba Chamberlain and see what his slider is like? I hope it has a realistic break, I have a feeling the break is going to be far too little.

Both of these games will probably have lineup issues. People with the Show already said there were guys like Lee leading off. Fortunately in both games we can edit the lineups pre game.. but still sucks. Now if the computer puts good guys in the minors thats another story. I haven't heard of that. Would like to know if anyone could sim some and see if there is anything like this. Also would be nice to know some season ending statistics and league leaders etc.

I am getting a lot of stutters and choppiness could it be cause i am playing on SDTV? I dont know. This sucks for me.
