Manage Mode

Will 2k8 feature a manage only with full graphics and on screen play like The Show does.

It has manage mode, but I don't think you even see the game.

That fact alone is why I go with "The Show". As much fun is it actually playing a game controlling the players yourself, I have always loved running a league as a manager only.

Sheppie, you waited two years to post, and now you're running off at the mouth! Yeah, it's a bit wierd how manage mode has kind of disappeared from most games. But I chalk it up to online gaming. Most game developers know that's where the money is, and aren't interested in adding lot of off-line features anymore. I mean look at APF this year, sheesh.

Well...he's kind of right(I don't know about the "butt cheese"...thank God)...but I don't see where he was "running his mouth off".
The guys asked a question....got his answer and simply stated he's not happy about it...and I agree with him.
I'd be much more into the game if it had a full blown manage only mode......and I'm sure there are plenty more. It can't be that difficult to implement .....but alas.....

I would kind of prefer it that they don't. I love MVP's Manager mode, because it was so fast and simple, and everything worked. Not being able to warm up or substitute pitchers while batting last season made the mode impossible. If they don't fix that, which seems like a very simply fix, then it'll ruin the mode again.
