More info. Whew! I get real pissy when I don't get any new info or articles. It's so wierd to me that very view online publications have given much info out. I would expect a big one soon from IGN prolly this Friday since the game is out very soon now.

He left...two years ago I think. Its why there's no more POTD's on IGN.

I am really liking the direction the franchise mode is taking in this game. I'd be lying if I didn't want The Show to, uh, "borrow" a couple of these for MLB '09 (like the player progression sliders). Although if the lineup AI is still whack, it won't really matter.

Sounds like he is liking the game alot. The way he described the games its sounds like alot of hit variety. Not sure what to make of all the collisions and outfield errors though.

Reading that is pretty encouraging but I agree that there's something odd with all of the collisions

It may be the result of a good game, good writing, or both, but that sounded very fun and promising.

One question though:

What is up with the absolutely HORRID textures in those screenshots???

Well, it's the full build so that's the way the game is. It's probably a little better on a TV than a screenshot though. It won't match The Show graphically, but I think it will be a better game overall. We have so much more control this year with franchise options and gameplay options.

Isn't this the game where you hit a button to call for the ball? Maybe the problem is he's not doing that.

Well yah, I realize that... but if you check the most recently released screens, or even the OS impressions (calling the game beautiful), these screen shots certainly don't match up... not at all. I mean come on, those look down right awful...

One thing that bothers me. Check the Depth Chart Picture and you see all the ratings in sliders. I hate Ratings being in Sliders, I need numbers.
