2K7 Question

I know I'm a little late to the party with 2K8 coming out soon but I've been playing NCAA 08 since June or July when it came out but today I popped in 2K7 and I was prompted to do an automatic update now I haven't played any full games yet but I noticed in "Exhibition Mode" the retractable roofs to Safeco, Miller and Minute Maid parks now actually shut is this feature only good in Exhibition Mode or do they actually shut in Franchise and GM modes as well?

That's a good question. I've been playing 2k7 quite extensively since release and have recently started a new 80 game season in anticipation of 2k8. I just finished a series with Milwaukee at Miller Park and noticed that the roof was open throughout the series. So I don't know that the update has fixed that.

Ok well thanks for the response, I will be interested in what others have found.

Earlier I went into a warm up game to get back in the flow of it and played it in Houston and for chuckles I choose Indoor (knowing it was 99% possibility that the roof would still look open) and to my surprise it was actually shut and I had to do a double take so I quit that game and went into both Miller and Safeco and sure enough both were closed so that would be sweet if this was true in Career/ Franchise modes.

I think the key is in exhibition and tournament mode you have control of all options including open or closed domes, and control of the cpu lineups and starting pitcher and uniforms. This is one of the things that I hope 2k has put into the franchise and season modes of 2k8. 2k7 Exhibition level of control over all aspects of the game you are about to play be it in franchise, season or tournament mode.
