I'm a 2K fan but the colors and atmosphere in MLB 2K8 pales in comparison to MLB 08 The Show. Not even close. How disappointing.

I don't think you can even think about reviewing the game graphics and color from this poor quality video. It is a recording of the game not an accurate reproduction.

Exactly....unless your playing this on an HDTV running straight from your own 360, you will never get a true representation of what the game will look like when you play it.

Its looking good to me. I enjoyed last years to an extent so i'm sure if the bugs are not as prevelant this year, I'll be playing a nice loooong season with my cubbies

was I seeing things or did two fielders, standing side by side, just let a pop up drop to the ground and nobody made an attempt to catch it? Also why wasn't the Rockies charged an error on the play? Also why did it happen in the first place? Check around the 19:38 mark in innings 4-6

That's just one of those "I got it, You take it, No, I got it, No you take it, No I...oh S**t." You really can't give an error since it fell between two players (who would you give the error to?). There's nothing worse to see as a pitcher and nothing better to see as a hitter (especially after the previous AB where you hit a laser down the line only to be robbed by the thirdbaseman).

Stop trying to compare 2k with the Show. We all know when it comes to presentation and game atmoshere the show is years ahead of 2k. You can't expect 2k to do much with the game on those levels this year being they obviously did a great job improving all other aspects of gameplay. Next year will be the year they do something with presentation and tweak gameplay even more.

The guy didn't call off the CF that's why that happened.

Brinkman said it could take up to 5 minutes to master!

HOPEFULLY the pitch control sliders are working this year finally. And if not, HOPEFULLY we can lower individual pitcher control ratings, which didn't work last year either.

I just watched the videos a bit. For me at least this video just sealed the deal.

The game looks choppy as all hell.

The CPU pitching looked as though it was still throwing to many pitches in the stike zone which mean I'm gonna have to adjust. And I hate the 2k series sliders for adjusting this. IT just never feels right.

Cameras for fielding are much better. Still hate the hitting cameras.

And most of all Human pitching is still WAY WAY to easy.

Now I can be mistaken but until I have a playable demo there is no way in hell they get another 60 dollars of mine. The show has rocked for 2 yrs running and 2K has stolen my money for 2 yrs. This year they need to PROVE it before I even begin to think about BUYIN it.

These videos did nothing in the way to help thier cause for me.

You can't judge the game accurately from this video and as for gameplay issues like you say cpu still throws too much in the strikezone. You have 2 options either turn the game difficulty up or work the sliders. I am sure the video you have watched isn't on the hardest level. CPU may throw more balls at higher levels.

Wow a full 9 Inning game....I'm so tempted to look at this..I probably will before the day is out unless the demo comes out by tonight.

Maybe he was playing in Rookie??? Plus I'm pretty sure sliders can fix that.

last year sliders couldnt fix missing spots. Not every pitch ends up where the pitcher intended - just because the motion is perfect. I had to boost computer hitting by a lot to have realistic scores, so even when i hit the spots perfect every pitch i would get punished.
