    Explain This To Me.

If the Bigs and MLB Power Pros both had a career mode (and made after 2k7) what's preventing a career mode from being in 2k8?

Only Brinkman could answer this question for you but here's my guess.

MLB 2K6- Unplayable piece of garbage

MLB 2k7- Playable game. Most improved game of the year according to OS users. But still full of bugs and a long list of gameplay problems. See MLB 2k7 wishlist for reference.

MLB 2k8- Attempt to clean up some of the bugs, while adding improved core gameplay mechanics. Still yet to be determined how they did.

When the basic 9 on 9 baseball game needed so much work I seriously doubt there was time to add a whole new gameplay mode which would undoubtedly come with its own set of new problems.

If your car didn't have a working engine would you put on new rims and tires?
              Good job! Good effort!

Im not talkin 24/7 if thats what you mean but yea that was cool but I mean create a player then turn on player lock put him on a roster then play with him and use the player lock camera 10 zoom 4 height and its cool have fatigue and all and when you leave the game have auto subs on and time out and set up your rotation by mins. and do subtitution method by rotation too then when you left the court press the left D-pad and turn on Coach mode and the CPU plays when your guy returns turn it off and resume play

Power Pros was developed by Konami, and was only published by 2k here in the states. What is or isn't in that game really has no bearing on what 2k8 has.

Edit: And calling Power pros success mode a "career mode" is a rather large stretch - it's more of an RPG and it only consists of going through college.

While your post is largely accurate, the fact that the comparable games in that "most improved game" category were garbage-fests like NBA Live 08 tells you that "most improved" doesn't necessarily = good.
