Hi All,

I am very disappointed with Major League Baseball 2K8 not being available for PAL. Baseball is now a worldwide game, and this is very disappointing that this title is only distributed in NTSC countries. I loved playing 2K series in the USA when I studied there, and dearly miss a quality baseball title such as this one. I think this company really needs to have a good look at its market, and see that there are many people around the world that love baseball, and by making it only NTSC they are literally cutting their revenue by not distributing to other countries. I am seriously thinking of buying a PS3 here in Australia just to play MLB The Show 08, because their console is region free, and hence the only way to play a baseball game. I would suggest they make this game region free so all baseball fanatics all over the world can play this title. THOUGHTS?

PS3 sounds like the way to go. 2K seems to have no interest in distributing any of their games globally, and it's been that way for years. Weird.

Same here. I wish they would just make the 360 version of the game codefree like some publishers do. Since the game isn't going to see a release over here, they would be able to sell some more copies of the game they won't get this way.

Yep - I have a 360 but I`ve just got a Jap PS3 (bought for a good price) in the UK.

The fact that I couldn`t get a PAL ir region free baseball game was a big factor in the decision. (I also got Rock Band which isn`t due out in the UK until much later in the year - June ?).

Looking forward to both MLB 08 and MLB2K8 - really enjoyed the demo of MLB2K7 downloaded to my UK 360 via a US silver account.

PS3 is the only way to get your baseball fix, I just bought one pretty much for APF and MLB games. Took all the 360 games that were just collecting for dust and ended up paying 300 euros for PS3 with 2 games and 1 Blu-ray movie. Also found MLB 07 and APF 2k8 at a local game shop and so far I'm loving the machine. Now just the painful wait till 08 and 2k8 arrive in the mail.
