Pre-order availability?

Since I am basically done waiting or caring about a demo at this point, I would like to know whether people who pre-ordered will get their game on the 3rd OR the 4th. Thanks!

I would think the 4th. However you may see some Gamestops selling on the 3rd.

Every game I've ever pre-ordered from Gamestop, dating back over a decade now, I have gotten on the release date.

The ship date is the 3rd. The release date is the 4th.

Yea i asked the guy at gamecrazy here in Washington state if the release date was on the 4th on he had no idea. He looked it up in his little book and said it was the 3rd. SO i took advantage of it and walked out because i knew it was the 4th it will be availible. So imma take advantage of what he said and get it on the 3rd.

so how will you take advantage of him and get the game on the 3rd if he doesn't get the game until the 4th ?

They get the games on the 3rd, but the start selling them on the 4th. That's what I've heard at least.

All the new weekend circulars came out today. Target has all their TV sets showing MLB2K8! Target's ad notes that the game will be available 3/4 at 4pm! Target does not take pre-orders, it's first come first serve.

Our local GameCrazy said release date is March 7th. I asked him when that was and he said Friday. I asked him if they would call me if it comes in earlier and he said, it probably won't because release dates are street dates and they are very strict about that.

So, take it for what it's worth.

Gamecrazy's website says March 3rd release date.

I have to call them and see why their computer and website are not on the same page.

They get the games on the 3rd, but the start selling them on the 4th. That's what I've heard at least.

No games stores around me do that. They usually don't get it until the afternoon on release day.

Depenending on the game, stores iether get them in on Monday or Tuesday. Bigger games (Halo, GTA, Madden, Smash Bros) tend to come in earlier, in case they do a midnight release. Most games come in whenever fed ex delivers them on tuesday, though (which, I know for the store near me is between 3 and 4, because the fed ex guys next stop is my work)
