Re: CUSTOM HITTER MUSIC IS IN THE GAME!!
Here is a link how to do it in NHL 2K8. I followed these instructions and they worked. I don't know if it will be the same or easier in MLB. Guess I'll find out Tuesday.

Re: CUSTOM HITTER MUSIC IS IN THE GAME!!
I believe this OS user gets credit for seeing it first... but we do need a new thread for this nice feature if it is so true.

Re: CUSTOM HITTER MUSIC IS IN THE GAME!!
So if it's in the game, perhaps we will be able to have Mariano come out to Enter Sandman, or even have New York New York play when the Yankees win at Yankee Stadium?
That'd be sweet!Comment

Re: CUSTOM HITTER MUSIC IS IN THE GAME!!
ok....shall we use the rest of this thread to list custom player music?
Joba Chamberlain - Indian Outlaw
Mariano - Enter Sandman
A-Rod - This is Why I'm Hott
Matsui - Kill Bill Theme
Posada -Gasolina
Moose - The Zoo by Scorpion
Manny - Ready or Not
Sheffield - In Da Club
Can we also get a list of some stadium music?
I have music editing software, so if we can indeed import our own music/sounds into the game, I'm going to clip some stuff like "smooth criminal" for stolen bases, and "you dropped the bomb on me" for homeruns.
God I love that this feature made it in.Comment

Re: CUSTOM HITTER MUSIC IS IN THE GAME!!
Wouldn't the LB and RB next to the word "Batters" mean "Pitchers" would also be a selectable option? Seems logical, but I have no idea what else it would be.Comment

Re: CUSTOM HITTER MUSIC IS IN THE GAME!!
It would be quite a letdown if you can only choose from the 2k beats.Good job! Good effort!Comment

This will be very nice if it's actually true custom music.Joshua:

Re: CUSTOM HITTER MUSIC IS IN THE GAME!!
Check what Steve just posted in the screens thread
Originally posted by Steve_OSOK, first of all, I can't figure out how to get music on the debug 360 to test it out. But it sure looks like if you have some music on the HD, you'd be able to use it. I mean, right now, since my drive is basically empty, there is only "Default Playlist and Sample Playlist". But there are quite a few empty spaces underneath, making me lean to saying you can grab music off the hard drive. But again, I can't test it, unless I can figure out how to get music files on this thing.
For stadiums, you can select beats for solo homerun, 2-run homer, 3-run homer, grand slam, Top of inning over, end of game, between pitch(H) and (A), batter over, batter intro (H) and (A), single, double, triple, walk, action replays, home run derby, pause, pitcher intro (H) and (A), game intro and bottom of inning over.
For players, it claims when you set the beat for the batter, it overrides the songs in the stadium beats, again making it seem like you can pull music from the HD.
So, to put it bluntly... I don't know exactly what you can or can't do here. Sorry. But if I find a way to import music to this debug, I'll check back in.

This is from the Beta though right? It is possible it got taken out. If I was a betting man I'd say it's still in, but I'm gonna keep my expectations tempered.Comment
