    MLB2K8 card System

I was wondering if you would beable to wager cards on-line for other cards to make your sets or do you just simply trade cards.

I think it would be sweet if you could play for cards. So that way games mean something.

If i'm wrong please someone correct me how this works.

I remember back the day when we used to play basesloaded for ballcards.

    You can only trade.

We wanted to let users wager cards on card battles, but MLB considered this promoting gambling and wouldn't allow us to do it.

      Thanks Kush....

Do you trade in a room or before the game starts.

It is really not betting for real. EA did that with the trophy's right on madden.

So if you happened to strike out 18 batters with Johan.....and got that card you would be dumb to let that card go because or the rarity correct.

i'm just thinking my brother in cali when we play we can play to build our card collection.

Whatever I think this going be a pretty special baseball game anyways.

I never actually tried any of the trading but there are a few options. You can make a "Tradeables" list for cards you are willing to trade and a "Wishlist" for cards you would like to acquire. Then you can browse other players' lists. You can also just browse other players collections and offer them a trade.

You could put Cards on the line in a game.

Obviously not with just some Random Butt person, but OS and DSM people that legit, it'll be cool.

I know I intend on playing my DSM / OS games for Cards.
