    ive been uploading songs all day since i got home from work. phew. tired. time to go to sleep...day off tomorrow for some MLB 2K8!

        dont mean to rain on everyones parade but i think it wont be any different than it was last year. last year i had a few songs on my hard drive and they would play when one of my batters walked up. in no way do i beleive you will be able to set a song for when a player hits a home run,etc. only the 2k beats. again, i hope and wish we could but i know in my heart we will only be able to set songs that come with thegame and not our own songs. sorry.

            Its been confirmed this is in, and that you can use your own songs off the HDD. Heres a picture of the feature and the guy who took the pics said he could use the songs on his HDD.http://www.operationsports.com/views...=119&outof=286

                            Sorry to disrupt the flow of this thread... but does the music actually have reverb and sound like it's coming from the stadium speakers, or does it sound just like it would normally sound if you played it straight from your HDD?

                                The only game I ever did custom soundtracks in was NFL 2k5 and it came out of the stadium speakers. Sounded just the same but it was your music and not the games. So I would assume they wouldnt change it.

                                    See, that's what I would think. But MLB 2K5 and MLB 2K6 didn't have it sound like that, so that's why I'm wondering.

                                        I think I also had this feature in one of Ea´s hockey games. And they managed to put a stadium-like effect to it. It was sweet!

                                                    well, im hoping i am wrong, even from what that kiz guy said though, any song for player walk ups, but 2k beats for the specific, homerun, inning end, closer entrance, thats the same as last year. but again i hope that it is in cause that would be awsome.

                                                            i dont know if anyone really noticed this, but last year in 2k7 when you created a player, they would enter come to bat using a song off your hard drive. Many times my created player on the indians would enter to Heart of a Champion. I thought this was an awesome little feature but you had really no control over it.
