Re: Custom Music Question
I don't have the game, but I'm guessing you can't do that. You'll have to edit the music file yourself on your computer for the part you want and then add it to the playlist. -
Re: Custom Music Question
google mp3 workshop xp thats what i used and its free cut the song to your liking, get it to your 360 and roll. im assuming you kno how to get it in the game from there. each song has to be its own playlist unless you want it to rotateComment

Re: Custom Music Question
you can stream it from your computer, create a playlist file with windows media or winamp and save it in your shared music folder (assuming you already have your 360 networked with your computer) and the playlist will show up. I would not recommend this if you are using a wireless adapter though.Comment

Re: Custom Music Question
I'm not sure cause I don't have the game, but in 2k5 you could browse through the playlist and pick whatever song you wanted from that certain list.
Like, say you made a playlist for Heavy Metal music only...You could browse through all the songs in that particular playlist and select which Heavy Metal song you want the player to come out to.You didn't have to create a playlist for each song.I don't think you'll have to in 2k8 either, cause that wouldn't make much sense.
If it's the exact same thing as 2k5's custom soundtrack, you'll be able to set which minute and second the song will start off, by simply pressing one of the analog sticks in to bring up the song length edit menu.
*EDIT*: I'm only guessing that it is like 2k5's custom soundtrack, because it seems exactly the same from what I have heard people say about it.The same scenarios can have music added to them in 2k8 as in 2k5...Examples: Solo HR , 2-Run HR, 3-Run HR, Grand Slam ,Walk, top/bot of inning over,before/end of game etc..Last edited by HK-47; 03-04-2008, 11:05 PM.Comment
