If this bug affects a large majority of the teams in the game...then this just may have killed the game.

So what happens to those players when you go back to your regular rosters? Are they on the major league club in place of someone else? Are they gone forever?

Any more explanation you can provide would be very helpful.

FYI, it works fine for me, both from the normal roster screen, and from inside a franchise.

Out of curiosity, have you downloaded the online patch/roster update?

Agreed, but are there any other ramifications to this? Will the Padres keep players in the minor leagues, have problems signing/releasing players, etc? Heck this could even be happening to other teams.

I was using the downloaded roster. Im not sure if this problem exists in the default roster.

Can someone confirm this glitch still exists after the roster/patch updates. It seems to have only happened to one person

Well two people: myself and obviousman 03. I got the exact same screen. When you attempt to demote Padres from the MLB roster to the minors, the Padres side shows all empty slots. As a result you cant demote Padres to AAA.

It's true. I started a padres franchise with the default roster, and all the slots are empty at the promote/demote screen.

I started a franchise with the Yankees, and I was able to demote/promote with no problems. I'm using the updated rosters.

it seems that when you add a player to the major league roster, exactly that happens. except now you have 26 players on the major league roster and the only way to get down to 25 is through trade or by releasing a player.

downloaded the patch when i first put the game in my 360. will go searching for updated rosters now and see if that helps.

EDIT: no dice. even with patch and downloaded rosters, the problem persists.

Has anyone simmed through a few seasons to see how this affects the franchise? Kinda like the disapperin fa's in madden didn't really matter until 4 or 5 yrs in.
