Classic swing also seems to be severly flawed. It seems to check swing every time unless you jam it down as hard as you can. There is also a weird glitch where you will double swing, that is as best as I can explain it.

really? it says in the manual those things are included under the section swing stick 2.0, but you cant do them. if you change it to swing stick 1.0 you can do a contact swing but no defensive swing.

The game was amazing last year i didn't think the hitting or pitching needed a upgrade, although I like pitching with the analog.

I couldn't get the normal contact swing (Swing Stick 2.0) to work at all earlier today. Only the power swing would work


The players would just stand their and not swing when I would try a contact swing. At first I thought I had classic batting but I checked and was in fact set correctly (Swing Stick 2.0).

I understand that hitting is more focused on actual player ratings this year but not being able to take any contact swings is very limiting and not fun.

Not feeling this game at all right now. I'm going to give it some more time but man I am currently disappointed in a major way.

that's not a flaw...

to swing with manual, you hold it down. if you let go of "a" before the pitch gets there, you'll do a check swing.

I just can't hit with the swing stick or the classic way looks like I am going to be playing in Pro until I get the hang of it.

a better manual, that actually had correct information would have been a lot more helpful, so im not trying contact swings that don't exsist
