Swing stick bug?

Maybe its just me but for swing stick 2.0 im assuming its the same as last year pull back and push forward for power swing and [pull back and release for contact. Well i can pull back and push forward to swing, but anytime i try just to pull back and release it my guy doesnt even swing? wth

You must pull back and forward to swing this year. There aren't "power" or "contact" options anymore.

People are saying that they screwed up on the game manual and put last year's swing stick controls. I believe they did away with the power swing part of it that was used in 2K7. To take a swing this year you have to pull back and push all the way up. How far you hit is all based on timing, where the ball is thrown, the type of pitch, etc....

wow thanks i thought maybe it was a bug, btw is swing stick 1.0 the same as last year then im guessing?
