360 Framerate theory: Axe HDD, Use Memory Card

I wanted to start a new thread to get some others to try this and see if they see the same results.

OK guys, I moved my game save and profile to my memory card and took off the HD. It is a lot smoother. Here is the thing..I put the camera back to the lower level and also turned on cutscenes and replays, and they used the memory card and not the HD. So, it seems the caching isn't really the true cause of the problem since the game is able to use the memory card more efficiently unless the 360 itself is able to read/write more quickly to the MC than the HDD. Anyone else want to try this and confirm I'm not seeing things??

Doing this has helped other 2k sports games. NBA, and COllege Hoops. At least for me. But hoe do you tranfer your profile over to the mem card without removing it completely from the harddrive?

I'm not sure if you can copy it over, I think you can just move it back and forth.

I can notice a little difference, but stupid that I have to do this to further enjoy a game I spent $60 for that said this wouldn't be a problem...

There's a framerate discussion thread here:

          http://www.operationsports.com/forum...d.php?t=240932

Let's try to keep everything consolidated into one thread concerning this issue.
