Did Audio and Presentation take a year off

I know it takes a lot to implement a new pitching system, fielding mechanics and a trading card feature, but I believe some of the time should have been spent on commentary and presentation.
We've had Jon and Joe for five years now, and it's beginning to take a toll. I have the utmost respect for those two gentlemen in real life, but this game is tarnishing their reputation. The amount of repetition and incorrect calls borders on absurd. Why do I have to be reminded every single game that Varitek is only one of handful catchers in Boston history to be named captain, or that Mike Lowell had the fewest errors ever in 2004 as a member of the Florida Marlins and the list goes on and on. Hey 2KLA or whomever they will call themselves next year, it's a good idea to study the opposition sometimes.
Presentation is also an area that is sorely lacking, thank you for the new homerun cam. I have to admit there is a lot more to a baseball game than presentation, but when Julio Lugo is still wearing his Tampa Rays hat from two years ago, someone is definitely not keeping up with the times. How about a portrait and a face for an upcoming star like Jacoby Ellsbury. I don't think I am asking for much.
I'm hearing it's a three year development plan that the game is under and this is year 2, I am afraid by the time 2K9 rolls around, most of us would have stopped caring. Like the old saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

    My .02 cents

yeah, don't think they added very much to the announcing. I am hearing the same stuff I heard last year.

One thing that is disturbing, at least with the demo, is that the commentary is really off alot. You hit a grounder to 3rd base going foul why does the guy at first need to worry about being caught in a run down?

It's taken several years off, easily the worst part of this game.

Brinkman said in an interview that Miller and Morgan didn't even come in this year to record new commentary. He said they put in alot of stuff that didn't make it into previous years games. Lame!
