I tried to close out a game last night with Carlos Marmol and to my chagrin, he gave up a blast! Stupid Adam Dunn!!

I thought it was just me. I go into the 9th with a 1-run or 2 run lead, and bring in my closer. He gives up 1 or 2 jacks and I lose. Seems that HR's get easier for the CPU when they're down in the last inning. WTF? My pitches are hitting their spots and they're not Meatballs. It's happened 3 times in a row.

        Frustrating.

Only had one save situation, Billy Wagner got the job done. Probably because it was an unimportant game against the Marlins.

Dunno if it is related but when I simmed a season my closer Saito half way through the year had a 1-8 record. Alot of closers seemed to have bad records.

Most of the closers in baseball stink; half will be out of jobs by the end of the year.

Rivera closes fine, thats all the matters to me.

This is probably an issue that requires slider tweaking. I'm gonna play with it this weekend, and post mine by Saturday. It was alot easier last year when the sliders had numbers on them.

It's intense in the 9th inning.

Rivalry mode Mo.. got the save in Fenway, typical 'Mo in Fenway' style. Manny Ramirez grounds out, Lowell gets a bloop single, JD drew walks, struck out varitek, struck out Ellsbury with a cutter inside to end it. 3-1
