So, is the HR problem fixed or not?

This was my biggest gripe with last year's game. If they cleaned this up it should make he game a lot better.

In the demo game I played there were 7 HR's in the one game.

Absolutely. I'm working on a rough set of sliders right now (hardly tweaked much on the All-Star level) and I just had a game...

      Boston @ NYY (Me)

They won 1-0, I had two hits and they had five. Seven total hits in a 2K game, not bad. So the offense can be extremely limited in this game if you want it to be. Beckett was a monster, his curveball is filthy.

Through the games I've played its been low scoring games. Its been top pitchers though also.

The CPU seems to have about the right amount.

If anything for me, I'm hitting too few.

              Same here...

Day 2 for me with this game and I have yet to hit anything resembling a HR. Very depressing.

I'm at 2 HR. I'm thinking it might just be me trying to learn the swing stick 2.0 though.

Haha, I just made a few tweaks! Nothing too conclusive yet. I replied to your PM too.

To me it looks like the HR and Robbing HR problems are fixed. I haven't hit a lot. I gave a lot up when I couldn't pitch thought

Also, I almost robbed one with Carlos Gomez but it hit inside his glove and went into the stands. It was a pretty cool animation.

I've played 2 games and I've hit two homers. One with Alou and one with Delgado. I've allowed quite a few because the first game I was just getting used to the new pitching. But I only gave up 1 the second game.

Oh you'll see a ton of HRs when you get started, unfortunately they'll all be for the opponents as you serve meatballs up to them while you get used to the pitching. Once you're used to the pitching, HRs aren't very common, maybe one a game on average as far as I've seen. Of course, I'm playing with the Giants so I'm not likely to see many HRs anyways.
