yeah right,thats why they`re calling it 1.1...then 1.2 then 1.3 and so on....they should start charging for half the game,then when patch comes charge for the other half...

Yesterday

According to my call at Microsoft, the Patch should go live on XBOX 360 tonight. We are currently in the process of checking with Sony about there patch release, and I would say to check tonight about that but that's looking more like a tomorrow release. Thank you for your patience and I am glad to provide this to you as I was hopeful of doing so.

Today

I just spoke with my contact at MS. Patches are generally released during the early morning hours and the server mantinence held up the release of the patch last night. I want to be honest with you guys: they are expecting to release it tonight. Having said that, I wouldn't wait on them through the morning hours and I am only ready to declare the patch as being immenintely released. I told you guys yesterday that I want this to be the first place for your news, and that's why I relayed what I had been told. I guess I won't be doing that again.

It would be nice if they would just give us a firm date. If it comes before then, good, at least people wouldn't be upset. What ever happened to deadlines? I know things can go wrong, but If they would have came out and said April 21, for example, nobody would be complaining right now. They just need to set a date that they KNOW it will be done by, and TELL US. Problem solved, no more whining, and no more let downs.

It's getting very old hearing 2K always passing the buck on MS............. last year's demo, this year's demo and now this year's patch. Will this pattern ever stop with these people???!!!!

Hey 2K, I call BS !!!

They did'nt want the demo for this game released before it hit the shelves and who knows what their motives are for this patch!!! In the end, I think we'll see something before their precious opening day weekend promotion. But I seriously doubt that the patch will actually work..........I believe the framerate issue will still be there!!

Sorry for the the pessimism but that's what 2K does to you, especially with their baseball games

sorry for not joining the pissy party but I was happy with what last years patch did for the game.....I have to be optomistic re: one sports game manufacturer to come thru with a good patch - and it is not EA.

4/3 Update - Microsoft is experiencing problems with Xbox Live which has caused the patch's release to be delayed. This is completely on Microsoft's side at this point, and we look forward to them being able to release the patch very soon.
