    step timing question

Any body got any sugestions on best time to start actually the back step on hitting; hitting is killing me. It seems like it tells me i'm late no matter when I pull back on stick. I'm liking the game though I don't strike out as much as last year

I have pretty good luck when pulling back and breifly holding when he is just about to let go of the ball. It seems alittle early but I get better results. Try the hr derby to get your swing down.

Use the replay too, it'll let you see exactly where in his release you are stepping. You want to step right as he releases his pitch. The timing window is rather small, so it can be tricky to find that groove. Once you get into a rhythm with that pitcher though, it becomes pretty automatic.
