Finally got the Pitching down

MAn after getting my *** kick. 45-0, 33-3, and 38-0 in my first 3 trys. But now its natural to me. I finally got it down , i mean man i was throwing like 13 straight meat pitches but i got it down. Man I deserve a beer for all the blood, tears and sweat i have gone through to finally throw a perfect pitch. But i realize how easy the batting have gotten i thought it would be harder but its easier that last year. And to people who are going to say if the batting is easier why you got blown out. The reason is because i was focusing on the pitching more that why

I'm going to be honest. That first game...I would have reset 2K8 after it was 25-0...maybe even 20-0. But congrats. I'm the exact opposite. I've only scored 3 runs in 8 games on All-Star.

Glad to hear you've finally got it down. Just when I think I am getting the hang of it the CPU goes back to back to back to back against me! I'll do pretty good for about 5 innings then I will start throwing meatballs and the CPU batters will just unload. I like the challenge though and I will get there.

Same here, all they had to do was released that video in the front page, a lot sooner and it would have saved me a lot of grief. I love the pitching mechanic now, that I understand it. It's one of those things that makes the game a lot more compelling.

You really have to concentrate on every pitch, because if you mess up that meatball will get you. I played my first homerless game against the CPU and it felt great. Next up batting, now where is that video?

yes, the pitching is great once you've mastered it. I did the in game tutorial right away and that really helped my learning curve. I've got it down pretty good. That is until you use a left hander and all the controls are reversed! LOL!
