Where is the option to turn the cursor off?

Is there an option to turn the pitching cursor off. I'm looking for a way to make pitching a little harder, and I want to remove the ball cursor that shows you where you are aiming. Anyone know how?

Surely it is in the game, or at least a way to make it fade. Otherwise two players on the same console would really suck.

I don't know if you guys tried this yet, but in the "Difficulties" settings there is an option to make the "Total Control Pitching" harder. To make it the hardest, push the bar all the way to the right. I've been thinking about trying this as well now that I kind of have the knack for pitching. Sorry that I don't know about the option for the pitching cursor. Later

KushGamer said the best representation to no cursor is setting it to "Fade".

IMO last year's game would have had many more walks if we could have just turned off the cursor (same with this year). Here's a prayer that 2K9 has this.

Sorry for being mildly ********, but where is the fade option. I can't find any options for the cursor?

Not sure, I don't own the game. But I've seen a video that does happen to show you can do that (not sure if it was because they were playing multiplayer or what have you).

Just played multiplayer on the same console tonight. It fades automatically for two-player games, but I see no option to do it in single player modes.

I haven't seen any option for this either. And it brings to mind something I was thinking about today: part of the problem with the pitching is the entire idea of aiming at a spot the size of the ball. The cursor itself (visible, fade, or invisible) should be a lot bigger. Pitchers pitch to general areas, not "pinpoint" spots like this mechanism (The Show's, too) suggests.

We should be moving something close to the size of the hot zone divisions.
