Re: ***MLB2K8 Patch Wishlist***
The only thing I can see right now that I really care about are fixing the frame rate problem, and getting Fausto Carmona and his teammate (forgot his name) whose heads are mixed up, on the correct body.
Everything else would be a welcomed surprise for meComment

Re: ***MLB2K8 Patch Wishlist***
I don't have the game yet(getting it today), so I'm going off of what I have experienced in the demo and what I have heard people with the full game say.
#1. Framerate stutters.
#2. The A.I should throw a realistic amount of balls on the All-Star and Legend settings.(The Rookie and Pro settings are usually aimed towards people who just want to hit the ball, so no need to make the A.I thow more balls on these two settings)
#3. Custom soundtrack- I heard that when you add custom music for a players walk up music, it will play when you are the away team as well. This is stupid and needs to be fixed! We shouldn't have to create a playlist for every freakin' song either!Last edited by HK-47; 03-08-2008, 12:28 PM.Comment

Re: ***MLB2K8 Patch Wishlist***
Fix the framerate for offline is the 1 thing we know.
Beyond that my biggest issue is for them to allow for slider use online. For those of us who run and play in leagues I feel this is a major issue.Comment

Re: ***MLB2K8 Patch Wishlist***
I don't know if they can address the pause from the cutscene of the batter walking up to the plate to the batter/pitcher cam... but if there is, I hope that's included in the patch.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Stolen base attempts by the CPU. Still haven't seen one in about 20 games. Unacceptable.Comment

Re: ***MLB2K8 Patch Wishlist***
1. Framerate (Obviously)
2. Sliders (Need to be more sensitive. I have some sliders at 100% just to see if there is a difference. Sometime there isn't much. Very little at best)
3. AI Stolen Bases (I think I have played anywhere from 15 to 20 games and have not even seen the AI get a bigger lead as well as any stolen bases. Example: I was the Red Sox playing the Dodgers and it was first and third with one out and Juan Pierre at first base and he never even attempted to go. I think it would be very cool to see a hit and run with say Pierre running and then the hitter fouls the ball off. Pierre has to go back and start again. That's realistic!
4. Graphics? (Can it be upgraded?)
That's all I can think of right now, but really I think that's it because other than the graphics taking a big hit this year and the issues above I'm absolutely LOVING the game! LaterComment

Re: ***MLB2K8 Patch Wishlist***
couple more fielding cams, framerate, thats about it for now
In one game i got robbed of three homers at the wall. oh yeah an option to turn off the damn homerun cam. I thought it was for no doubters, but still balls that barely clear the wall still have the homerun cam.Comment

Re: ***MLB2K8 Patch Wishlist***
Because of how badly people are complaining, the only things i expect to see are:
Framerate fixes,
Padres callup/calldown bug
Anything else would be a surprise, as i expect the patch to be out once these major bugs are done. I'm not ruling out another patch later on though...Comment

Re: ***MLB2K8 Patch Wishlist***
Well, I'm in July of 2013 now (overall rating in parentheses) . . .
- Liriano (100)
- Kazmir (98)
- Oswalt (94)
- Hamels (93)
- Upton (93)
- Carmona (90)
- Pence (88)
Those are the top 7. I could list more but I think you get the point. I can't answer your question since I can't find any durability or injury ratings. I guess by assumption, it's injury status but . . .

Need some progression sliders . . .
Check this out. Year 2013 . . .
3 players hit 60 or more home runs. (Hanley Ramirez hit 69, Mark Teixeira and Grady Sizemore hit 60).
9 players hit 50 or more. 21 hit 40 or more.
91 players hit .300 or better.

Out of the top 100 prospects that are position players, only 4 of them are switch hitters or lefties. LoL . . .

By the way, default progression sliders.Comment
